What’s happening in Europe?
According to a report by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in 2020, hate crimes and incidents against LGBTQ+ individuals remain prevalent in many EU countries.
The report also found that 43% of respondents who identified as LGBTQ+ reported experiencing physical or sexual harassment, and that, unfortunately, many go unreported.
